Participatory budgeting

The participatory budgeting process is divided into four stages 1. Brainstorming 2. Evaluation 3. Voting and 4. Implementation.
In the brainstorming stage, residents can propose ideas. During evaluation the proposals are evaluated on the basis of the provided criteria, timetable and budget. During voting you can vote for your favourite proposals. In the last phase of the process, the ideas are implemented.

• Submit an idea 16.1. - 6.2.2024

  During the brainstorming phase, you can freely submit ideas within the boundaries of the budget (50 000 €) and the given implementation timetable. The objective of the brainstorming phase is to find as many ideas as possible for ideas that would make Porvoo a better city for all of us. You can come up with ideas alone, in a group, in a club, in an association or in a company. Ideas can be submitted by people of all ages living in Porvoo or interested in developing Porvoo.

• Voting 13.3. - 28.3.2024

  During the voting phase, you can vote for ideas based on the participatory budget. The ideas that receive the most votes will proceed to the implementation phase.
